Tack Club FAQ

IPC Tack Club is a digital loyalty & reward programme by IPC Shopping Centre to provide benefits to its members.

Memberships are applicable to those residing in Malaysia above the age of 13 with a valid phone number and NRIC. To apply for a IPC Tack Club membership, simply follow the steps below:

1. Download the application “IPC App” from either the Google Play Store or Apple App Store.
2. Complete the registration from via the IPC App.
3. Congratulations you are now an IPC Tack Club member!

Members will be able to enjoy the following benefits:

1. Earn Tack Points (“Points”) when Recycling at IPC Shopping Centre’s Recycling & Buy Back Centre (RBBC, Level P1 near Ladies Carpark).
2. Use Tack Points to exchange for rewards. Full list of rewards can be found at Tack Rewards.
3. Children of Tack Club members below the age of 13 are applicable to join IPC Små Club, IPC Shopping Centre’s loyalty & rewards programme for kids.
4. Enjoy exclusive promotions from participating stores, only for IPC Tack Club members. For a full exclusive promotions, members may open their IPC App and scroll down for all the Active Rewards in the app.

Members are awarded Tack Points when they recycle at IPC Shopping Centre’s Recycling & Buy Back centre (RBBC) by fulfilling the weightage below:

Cardboard	1 kg = 10 Tack Points
Paper	1 kg = 10 Tack Points
Plastic	1 kg = 10 Tack Points
Metal	1 kg = 20 Tack Points
Aluminium	500g = 50 Tack Points
Drink Carton	500g = 5 Tack Points
Polystyrene	500g = 5 Tack Points
Textile	1kg = 5 Tack Points

If the recyclable is minimum 0.1kg, but less than 1kg or 500g (the amount needed to get Tack Points), it will be recorded in the IPC App under the “RBBC” section. These recyclables may be accumulated over several sessions to reach the targeted weight needed to earn Tack Points.

No. Membership is offered to the public free of charge at this time of writing.

Check the remainder of your Tack Points with these steps:

1. Open your IPC App.
2. Click on “Profile” icon located at the bottom right of the app.
3. You will see your remainder points under your profile picture.

Each Tack Point(s) is valid during their 1-year membership cycle from date of application/renewal and will expire once the membership is either a): terminated, b): cancelled, or c): Has reached the end of its membership cycle + 30 days grace period.

For example:

If the member joins in 1 April 2022, all points that are collected within the time frame of 1 April 2022 until 31 March 2023 will expire 1 May 2023

Members are encouraged to redeem their accumulated points before the expiry date.

Unfortunately, your IPC App will be required as our RBBC scanner will be required to scan your member QR code.

Members may start earning the moment they have a valid profile in their IPC App.

Yes, members may change their registered e-mail address via the IPC App:

1. Open your IPC App.
2. Tap on “Profile” on the bottom right.
3. Below your profile picture, tap on “Edit Profile”.

Phone numbers however, can only be changed via request e-mail to [email protected]

Aside from phone number, members are free to change their details within the IPC App:

1. Open your IPC App.
2. Tap on “Profile” on the bottom right.
3. Below your profile picture, tap on “Edit Profile”.

Members may change their password via the IPC App:

1. Open your IPC App.
2. Tap on “Profile” on the bottom right.
3. Below your profile picture, tap on “Edit Profile”.
4. Scroll to the bottom of the screen and tap on “Change Password”.
5. Key in your current password and new password.

Should the member forget their password, they may tap on “Forget password” at the “Log in” screen. The member will then be asked to key in their phone number registered with the account. An e-mail will then be sent to the registered e-mail address. Hence, we encourage all our users to ensure that their e-mail address and particulars are up-to-date.

No. The App uses the Members’ registered phone number as its basic record. The App may be reinstalled and signed in Members’ registered phone number and all the data residing therein, including Tack Points, will remain. However, if you have misplaced your phone or changed your phone number, kindly e-mail us for a change request at: [email protected]

There will be no Physical membership card issued as the all information is within the App.

Only kids of Tack Club members below the age of 13 may join our IPC Små Club and receive a supplementary membership. Once the child of the Tack Club member reaches the age of 13, they will be required to register for their own Tack Club membership.

Members may redeem a wide range of rewards from e-vouchers to free parking to IPC Limited Edition merchandise. To see our list of rewards, visit www.ipc.com.my/tackrewards

Redemption of rewards can only be done by visiting our i-Counter at Level G. Please ensure that you have enough points to redeem the intended reward.

Members will need to visit our i-Counter at Level G in order to redeem their e-vouchers. There our Customer Service Officer will issue you your e-voucher and it should appear in your e-vouchers Tab. To access:

1. Open your IPC App.
2. Tap on “E-vouchers” on the top row.
3. Your e-voucher should show.

E-vouchers should be used at our participating stores within 30 days of issuance. You may find our list of participating stores listed within the e-voucher screen as “Participating Tenants”

You can only redeem the Tack Points earned for and accumulated in your own Card. Transfer and/or accumulation of Tack Points from another Card is disallowed.

No. Tack Points cannot be exchanged for cash.

No. Tack Points are not transferable and may not be combined with another member’s to redeem rewards.
